CONTIKI TOUR CALIFORNIA 27.05. - 05.06.2009

Morgens um 4Uhr gings mit dem Amtrakzug 1 Stunde von LA nach Anaheim zum Treffpunkt der Contiki Tour.

Kurze Beschreibung zur Contiki Tour:

50 people from all over the world.

Robyn from Ireland, Stephen, Laura, Leo, Mick, Ben, Scott, Rebecca, Mark, Sahrah, Amy, Emma, Michelle, Akshra, Lauren, Chelsea, Bill, Laura, Anahara, Carly, Christine, Jessica, Alyssa, Kate, Kurt, Grant from Australia, James the Weatherman Carter, Phil, Beth from New Zealand,

Melanie, Stephanie from Kanada, Gerard, Fionnuala, Maxine, Gavan from Northern Ireland

Achim, Zayn, Matthew, Peter, Emma, Alex, Darshan from England and of course my friends Birte, Jenny und Eric from Germany.

First stop was San Diego, we made a Harbour Cruize, after that everybody went shopping, but Kurt, Grant and i watched the Champions Leauge Final Barca vs ManU, wrong result :-(

After the game we went to Old San Diego Town and had a dinner in Dicks Last Resort.

Then we had our first room party in Micks room, thanks again Mick.

I explained the chicken game ;-) i think it was one of the highlights during the trip BAGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA, Laura (Leo) i think you have to drink now ;-)

Sadly the party ends at about 2 in the night, cos SOMEBODY from Australia-Adelaide called and said: hello its the reception, the police is coming if you are not finish the party...

THANKS Mark, hope you and Rebecca had a romantic night after the call ;-)

What else happens in San Diego? Karaoke. oh jes, Micks good entertainment and of course the germans with 99 red ballons... ;-) After San Diego we went to Arizona, Scottsdale. Had a dinner at a place called "my big fat creek wedding" and a pool party - hey Robyn how are u ? ;-)

Oh and Bill fall over at the reception, maybe tooooo many drinks??? hahaha

Then we went to the Grand Canyon. On the way we had a stop for some pictures and a Jeep Tour. In the Grand Canyon we had a Party in Micks room again. We played the chicken game and the horse race ;-) thanks Leo, good idea with changing the rules ;-)

The next day we had a helicopter flight and i was left behind, cos i was the only person who had to change the company. On the way to the other company i thought, well i m sure they will forget me...and it happens, hihi...

On the way back with the bus, Robyn reallised that im not on the bus, thanks sweet ;-) so the bus returned to the airport, but i was already on the way back to our cabins. Back at our cabins we went to a Grand Canyon hike and James Carter made his famous 5 min picture ;-)

In the evening we had some drinks in Darshans room and we played the horserace and the chicken game again ;-) i think everybody had a lot of fun....inclusive the weatherman ;-) And of course Bill, he went to the wrong room ;-)

After the Grand Canyon we saw the Route 66 and we went to "LAS WWWWEGAS" had a "Wolleyballgame" and some "Wodka". In "Las Wegas" we had to say goodbye to some of our friends. Goodbye Laura & Leo, and the English guys, Achim, Zayn, Matthew, Peter and Darshan :-(

But we got some new friends. Hello Eric, Ben and Scott. Miss you Ben, hihi...

We had a really great time in LAS WEGAS...saw Mick & Amys wedding...

After 2 days in Vegas we went to Bass Lake/Yosemite National Park, made a 4h hikking, saw some great waterfalls and amazing rocks. Had a Pyjamaparty at the pool and and and...

Then we went to San Francisco. Saw the Golden Gate Bridge, the painted Ladies, made a Boat Cruize, saw Alcatraz and had lunch at the Fishermans Warf.

In the evening we went to a pub and then it was time for me to say Goodbye to all the lovely people :-( Guys i miss you soo much. Especially someone :-) Thanks for the really really great time. Of course one of the greatest time during my around the world trip.

I hope to see some of you in the near future....
